Why does the website say I need a special code?
Participants in this study need to be patients of certain large health systems around the United States. Eligible patients from those systems have been invited to join the study. If you have not received an invitation to join the study from your medical provider, you are not eligible to participate. If you did receive an invitation with a participation code on it but the code is not working, please contact the phone number on your invitation for assistance.
What happens if I forget to complete my surveys when requested?
We will be sending you reminders about when to complete your surveys. If you miss the time frame for entering, you will be reminded to complete your survey at your next follow-up. If you are not receiving reminder messages from us, please check under the "My Profile" tab in the ADAPTABLE website to confirm that we have a correct email and/or phone number for you in our records. You can also check in your "Junk" email folder to see if the messages may be getting automatically filtered by your email system.
When do I get my $25?
Your $25 card will arrive in the mail within 4-6 weeks from the time you completed your early check-in visit .
How do I ask for help on this study?
If you have a study question related to aspirin, side effects of aspirin, your dose of aspirin, anything related to your medical information or the study research, please call the phone number you received on your study invitation email or letter or use the contacts on the informed consent form you signed. You can also log into the ADAPTABLE website and select "contact us" in the lower right hand corner which will provide you information on who to contact with questions you might have.
What are the dosing instructions for my aspirin?
Participants in this study are asked to take the dose of aspirin you were assigned every day. Remember, you need to purchase your own aspirin for this study. As always, you can contact your doctor if you have questions.
What do I do if I forgot to take my aspirin?
If you forget to take your aspirin on any given day, please resume taking it as soon as possible. As always, you can contact your doctor if you have questions.
Which web browsers can I use with the ADAPTABLE website?
The study website works with any modern browser including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer. If you are having any trouble viewing the study website with your computer, please contact Mytrus technical support at 1-844-325-9568.
Can I stop the study if I want to?
If you have any questions about continuing in the ADAPTABLE study please call the ADAPTABLE Call Center – information on how to contact the call center can be found on the log in page of the website in the "contact us" section.
I'm not receiving emails or text reminders for the study. What do I do?
We will be sending you reminders about when to complete your follow-up surveys. Do I need my unique code after I create my profile?
No, once you create your profile the unique code you received is no longer needed. Please do not share your unique code with others.
If I don't have time to complete the requested information – can I come back later?
Yes, if you completed forms and submitted they will be saved. When you log back in just click on the next section and follow the prompts on the website.
What are some of the key things I generally need to have available when completing my follow-up visits?
Its always good to have your medications including your aspirin available as well as any information related to any hospitalizations you have had since your last visit to the website.
